I'm Axel, a Creative & Art Directior for Motion Design
For almost 20 years I've successfully led creative teams in all kind of brand-oriented projects: innovative and experimental web experiences, audiovisual design for TV, visual effects and 3D animation for feature films and advertising, educational and training video series for corporations, and more.
I have managed projects for major international clients such as Coca-Cola, Danone, AXA Assistance, Mobile World Capital, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, DIRECTV, TNT, Sony Music, TED, Telefónica, Discovery Channel and many more. My knowledge spans concept development, design thinking, art & creative direction, outsourcing management, and team leading.
I also have a vast career as teacher and researcher. For four years I've been in charge of the first and fifth levels of Industrial Design at the Galán Class held at the Faculty of Architecture and Design (FADU) of Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA). Here me and my team implemented design thinking methodologies to get the students to understand product design as a holistic discipline. I have also been in charge of the Interaction and Motion Design Class at EU Business School, the Masters in 3D Animation at 9Zeros and I have also been a visiting professor at the Masters in Animation at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and also at the Animation d'Auteur class at the Escola Massana. Nowadays I'm a mentor at ESDI - Universitat Ramón Llull and I'm in charge of the Motion Design course at L'Idem Barcelona.
With my personal work I've earned awards and mentions at many international animation festivals such as Annecy, Animadrid, Hiroshima Animation Festival, HAFF, Zagreb Animation Festival, among others.
